Dom Thompson-Talbot.
I've followed a winding path into the world of horticulture, each twist and turn adding invaluable experience, skills and knowledge that I now find indispensable.
Leaving school at sixteen, I worked on a plant nursery, as a gardener, and as a builder. After relocating to London in my early twenties, I retrained and forged out a career in the creative industries. For two decades, I worked across animation, film, and design, earning amongst other awards two D&AD’s and the honour of being invited to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
This journey has not only been enriching but has also provided me with a solid foundation in landscaping and horticulture. My career in the creative industries isn't just a chapter in my story; it's an integral part of how I approach garden design.
In my spare time, I'm out in the countryside with my kids and our dog Bagel, experimenting with plant combinations in my own garden or have my head in a gardening book (i'm slightly obsessed with plants).
