Garden Doctor – One-to-One Garden Coaching
Clear, practical guidance to help you understand your garden and improve it month by month.
If you’re not ready for a full redesign but know your garden could work harder for you, this is the place to start.
I’ll visit and walk the garden with you, talk through what you’d like from the space and identify what’s working, what isn’t and what to tackle first.
We’ll look at layout, planting, problem areas and quick wins.
After the visit you’ll receive straightforward notes so you know exactly what to do next.
Fees
- £90 per hour - in-person.
- £75 per hour - remote call.
Planting, materials and any contractors are not included in the session fee.
Gift vouchers are available for 2-hour Garden Doctor sessions @ £180 and £150 respectively.
Planting Schemes
Thoughtful, characterful planting designed for your space, your style and your conditions.
If you have a tired area that needs revitalising, a border that isn’t working or a new bed you’d like to plant properly from the start, I can help.
I’ll walk the site with you, discuss the look and feel you’re after and assess light, soil and aspect. From there I’ll create a planting plan tailored to your garden, with a mix of structure, seasonal interest and long-term resilience.
I'll source the plants, set them out on site and plant them for you. You’ll also receive a simple maintenance plan so you know how to look after everything going forward.
Fees
- Planting plans start from around £450 for a smaller space.
- Larger or more complex schemes are quoted individually
Plant sourcing and installation are costed separately once the plan is agreed.
Garden Design - Full Concept & Layout
A complete, considered design that transforms your garden with clarity and purpose.
This service is for clients who want to totally rework their garden.
I’ll survey and analyse the existing space, talk through how you’d like to use it and develop a concept that responds to the site and to you. From there on I’ll produce layout drawings, materials suggestions, key levels and planting ideas, along with reference visuals to help you picture your finished garden.
Once the design is agreed, I can prepare technical drawings and specifications for tendering, and offer ongoing design input and guidance during the build so the finished garden stays true to the concept.
I can also offer a project management service through the build if you require it.
Fees
Full garden design starting from £900.
- Larger or more complex projects are quoted after an initial visit
Technical drawings, detailed planting plans and construction-stage support are priced separately once the scope is clear.
