It can be overwhelming knowing where to start if you have an unruly space that needs of taming. Luckily for you that's what I love most about garden design. Unlocking a garden's full potential and creating spaces you can fall in love with.

For me, the best gardens have real character, an extension of the owner's personality. They're places that suit how you live, fit their location and honour the plants and wildlife that share it with you.

My inspiration comes from wandering along the South Coast and through the great British countryside. From some the fantastic garden's on my door step like Great Dixter and Prospect Cottage. I’m drawn to gardens shaped by instincts rather than trends, spaces where you can feel freedom and individuality all around you.

I’m not interested in following the crowd or imposing a style; I want to create spaces that feel personal, with an independent spirit, without being precious. Reusing and repurposing materials helps with that – an old brick or reclaimed piece of timber tells a story and makes a space feel lived‑in and authentic.

Plants are my passion. I like to combine them in ways that encourage wildlife, mixing textures and colours in ways that are exuberant, playful and full of surprises. To me, a garden is never “finished” – it’s always growing and evolving, and that’s part of the pleasure.

Above all, I believe you don’t have to choose between being wildlife‑friendly, sustainable and having a contemporary sensibility. With care and creativity, you can have all three. My goal is to weave those values together so your garden feels both naturally abundant and thoughtfully put together, with a character that’s distinctly your own.
